As Christians, we believe that God is worth praising – and, in fact, that praising him is one of the main reasons we exist. As a result, we think it’s important to meet up every week to worship him together. Our services are on Sundays at 11:00am and 6:30pm, and you’d be very welcome to come along. There’s provision for kids at all the morning services, so bring them along too – they spend the first part of the service in the church, and then go over to the hall for their own activities. We also have special services and family services from time to time – keep an eye on the website.

 

Our other main church meeting is on a Thursday evening at 7:45. Here we sing and read from the Bible again, but we spend a longer time praying about various issues.

 

If you come along on a typical Sunday, you’ll find that we spend a good bit of time singing praise to God, using both older hymns and contemporary songs. We speak to God in prayer, because we believe he is powerful and wise in ways that we’re not. We also spend time reading and listening to the Bible, and hearing it being explained by the preacher. We believe that the Bible is not an ordinary book like any other, but is God’s Word. It’s what God has to say to us. Most importantly, it’s focussed on a message of good news for all of us – a message which centres on Jesus Christ.
